Day 1:  Upon arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica you will meet with a bilingual guide and transfer by ground approximately 2 hours to the Hotel Villa Caletas, located north of Jacó Beach on the Central Pacific Coast, for overnight. The private hilltop location of this European mansion, more than 1000 feet above the ocean, is one of the most stunning and scenic in Costa Rica, offering 360 degree views of the Nicoya Peninsula, gulf islands, beaches and rainforests. This isolated and romantic elegant resort is surrounded by lush gardens and offers 2 gourmet dining rooms, free form swimming pool, and nearby private beach. Remainder of the day is free to explore.

Day 2:  Manuel Antonio National Park Private Hike: Let an experienced nature guide take you on an informative hike through beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park. Though the main attractions of this park are its two beautiful beaches – Espadilla Sur and Manuel Antonio – it also protects coastal rainforest, a mangrove swamp, coral formations and 12 islands that serve as seabird sanctuaries. Your guide will teach you about the park’s distinctive plant life and point out some of the resident fauna, which includes 109 mammal species, such as capuchin and squirrel monkeys, agouti and three-toed sloth – and 184 species of birds. Day 3:  Free day to enjoy the beach or schedule day trips. Attractions and activities include Carara Biological Reserve, horseback riding, adventure canopy tour, kayaking & snorkeling tour, hiking in Manuel Antonio National Park, Poas Volcano, sport fishing, sunset boat cruise, Tempisque River Cruise, Tortuga Island Cruise and whitewater rafting. Day 4: Today, you will meet with a bilingual guide and transfer by ground approximately 4 hours to the Arenal Volcano. Arenal is one of the world's most active volcanoes, famous for its frequent eruptions, lava streams and incandescent rock explosions. Arrive at The Springs Resort & Spa for overnight. With a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano, natural hot & cold springs 4 unique dining experiences and an impressive full service Spa. The Springs promises to overwhelm you with the highest quality of service and design. The resort perches 1000 feet above the Arenal Valley on a mountain ridge just 6 kilometers north of the active volcano! All rooms have a/c, Wi-Fi, 37 inch plasma screen TV’s, DVD player, king size bed and oversized bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and shower. The Springs is ongoing project with some construction at times (the noise level is kept to a minimum and all guests will have access to 3 restaurants, 2 bars and 12 hot spring pools).

Day 5:  Guided Arenal Hanging Bridges Walk:  Located within a corridor followed by birds migrating between North and South America, these trails and miraculous hanging bridges will bring you closer than you could imagine to an array of wild animals, birds, flowers and lush vegetation of the primary and secondary rainforest.  The bridges consist of 8 fixed bridges and 6 hanging bridges built with the latest techniques.  They are designed with an eye for both beauty and safety.  Overnight at The Springs Resort & Spa

Day 6: Today, you will transfer with your driver / guide approximately 2 – 3 hours to the Peace Lodge at La Paz Waterfall Gardens for overnight.  The lodge is located on the grounds of the private nature reserve offering five incredible waterfalls, lush gardens, butterfly observatory, and hummingbird feeders all connected by a unique trail system.  The deluxe hotel rooms are 800 square feet with an unbelievable garden bathroom designed for the true nature lover.  A seven-foot waterfall comes to life as you are soaking in the Jacuzzi tub in the garden.   There is also a garden shower and indoor shower.  All of this is surrounded by beautiful indoor landscaping and illuminated by a skylight.  The room also has a Jacuzzi tub and hammock on the balcony for those picture perfect star gazing nights.  A grand gas fireplace to view from the king size canopy bed completes the room.  There is also satellite TV, stereo system, refrigerator, and coffee maker.

Day 7:  Free day to explore La Paz Waterfall Gardens.  All guests are welcome to enjoy the park before it opens and after it closes the optimal bird and wildlife viewing times. Optional guided tours are available at extra cost including private hike through La Paz, Poas Volcano, Doka Coffee Plantation, river-rafting for beginners, a boat cruise on the Sarapiqui, horseback tours, and the Center for Neotropical Studies.   Overnight at Peace Lodge.

Day 8: Today, you will meet with a bilingual guide and transfer by ground approximately 1 hour to the international airport in San Jose for departure.
