Curu Sea Kayaking – 3 Night / 4 Days. This trip starts for the Pacific Coast city of Puntarenas, where you go by ferry across the Gulf of Nicoya to Playa Paquerathen on to the Silvestre Curú National Wildlife Refuge. Paddle about an hour along the coast to your camp on Playa Quesera, a beautiful, deserted, white sand beach backed by thick forest. Playa Quesera will be your base camp where you can sleep in comfortable tents or under the stars in a hammock. The next days will be spent enjoying the variety of the area - paddling to Las Islas Tortugas and a natural rock arch formed by the sea, surf kayaking, and drifting through a mangrove estuary inhabited by numerous species of birds and colorful crabs.
