Corcovado Lodge Tent Camp
If endless stretches of deserted tropical beaches surrounded by lush virgin rainforests with no cars and no phones sounds like heaven, you'll love this place. Camp is located on a low grassy bluff just beyond the edge of the beach about a mile walk from the closest airstrip. Each of the 20 ten-square foot tents pitched on wooden platforms is equipped with two single beds, a small table, a supply of candles, and a couple of chairs to enjoy your ocean view. The lodge features meals served family style in a thatch roofed open-air restaurant, a hammock hut with a bar, common bath houses with showers on each side of camp, and well-marked loop trails. The southern entrance of Corcovado National Park is within walking distance and a sturdy platform 100 feet up above the forest floor offers a unique opportunity to observe wildlife in the forest canopy.
